    That show with Bill Lee you guys did was great! Bill Lee needs to have his own show. How can we make this happen? I need to see Bill Lee on TV because he’s such an entertainer. And most of all, he makes me feel good because now I know I’m not the only oddball who happens to also love Beisbol.

    Great film, great subject. I always loved Spaceman. Thanks for a fun evening and some great memories of the Sox in the seventies.

    The film was awesome. So many memories, so much to think about but so much more to accomplish. Thanks for always “getting back up”. The encouragement was tremendous. It was a perfect ending to my 51st birthday!

    Great show! It brought back so many memories of Bill Lee. My fondest being when I was 13yrs old and Lee was a guest at our Babe Ruth League dinner. I asked him about pitching and he taught me the 45deg pick off move (and next step directly to first) that is being used so effectively by Jon Lester now. He was/is a wonderful baseball player and such an intriguing person.

    I watched NESN’s version of the show with a good friend. We were both moved by Bill’s personality and his views of political and world issues. He’s the way we all shouild be about baseball- play for the love and the fun of the game, like Cuba does. I respect what Bill has done and still does for the game. He is an honorable man.

    FYI, check out the new novel, “The Curse of Carl Mays” — The Spaceman is a major character, playing himself in a fictional role. Good fun. Interesting read.
